1 million tonnes of cargo has been handled since the rail terminal at Bird Port opened in 2010. This is quite an achievement in three years as Cargo Services received a Freight Facilities grant from the Welsh assembly government which was conditional to the terminal handling 1 million tonnes over a five year period.… view more »

Cargo Services (UK) Ltd. enter a long term lease with the Bird Group to
acquire Bird Port II next door to Bird Port, which is a 6 acre site with a Dock capable of handling vessels up to 4000DWT.
The Dock is yet to be operational as it requires the Bird Group to undertake dredging works which are ongoing.

On Friday 22nd February 2013, Cargo Services(UK) Ltd. attended a pre-deployment dinner in Cardiff held in honour of the crew of HMS Dragon - a Type 45 class Destroyer, organised by the British Warships Association.
Cargo Services was one of several local organisations who sponsored various items of sports equipment for the Ships crew. In return the Company received a Ships plaque (shown above) presented by Captain Ian Lower, Commanding Officer HMS Dragon.… view more »
